About me

I am currently a 4th-year PhD student at University of Michigan and luckily being advised by Prof. Thatchaphol Saranurak. I was at INSAIT in Fall 2024 as a visiting student. I have a broad interest in theoretical computer science and mathematics, especially in graph algorithms and combinatorics.

Before my PhD, I was an undergraduate student in Yao Class, Tsinghua University. During the spring and summer of 2022, I visited the wonderful theory group of UM and worked closely with Prof. Seth Pettie and Prof. Thatchaphol Saranurak.

I love theoretical thinking, for both research problems and ICPC- or IMO- style questions, also puzzle games for fun.

News: Two problems I have focused on for more than half a year may have been solved by GPT-6. This is one of them. This is the other one of them.

I feel most graph algorithm research will be done by AI in the future. This is sad in some sense as a human researcher, but I am still personally happy in understanding them and finding useful concepts.
